Trigg Community Gathers For 24th Annual MLK March

Over 100 community members gathered in Cadiz for a high-energy, worship service to remember Martin Luther King, Jr. Monday.

Cave Springs Baptist Church Pastor William R. Catlett was the featured speaker for the event. He spoke on the theme of the march, “Tolerance, Trust, and Believe”.

Before the service at Bloomfield Baptist Church, nearly 30 people participated in a march. It started with a “Why We March” speech from Trigg County School student Alesha Nyakeraka and the march went from the Renaissance stage to the church on Jefferson Street.
