A Hopkinsville man is charged with theft by unlawful taking, second-degree burglary and possession of marijuana after police allegedly stopped him in a stolen vehicle Wednesday.
According to Hopkinsville Police 27-year-old George Hale was seen on Braden Street in a vehicle reported stolen and attempted to lose police but was stopped in a parking lot of North Main Street.
In the vehicle police reportedly found marijuana.
Hale was also arrested on a warrant for second-degree burglary, unlawful use of a computer and failure to appear after he reportedly took several televisions, a PlayStation and used a debit card without permission taking $160 on October 23rd.
Hale allegedly pawned the items after the burglary.
