A Hopkinsville man allegedly broke into a home to take boots Monday afternoon.
According to a Hopkinsville Police report, Police were called to a South McPherson Avenue home for a burglary and found 47-year-old David Williams walking around in the home.
Williams reportedly told police he was going to take a pair of boots that he found inside the home.
He is charged with second-degree burglary.
