A Hopkinsville teen was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Clinic Drive Wednesday night.
According to the accident report, 17-year old Jaquavia Bailey of Hopkinsville was driving west on Clinic Drive after 8:15 p.m. when she pulled into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by 18-year old Jerome Smith II. Police say the front end of Smith’s vehicle t-boned the left side of Bailey’s car, which had to be towed from the scene due to moderate to severe damage. Bailey told officers she thought Smith was turning into the Walmart parking lot when she pulled out in front of him.
Police say Smith was taken by ambulance to the emergency room at Jennie Stuart Medical Center for a complaint of a head injury.
