A Cadiz woman is facing charges after driving under the influence late Wednesday night.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Office reports they received a call of 28-year old Lynsey Gibbs was driving under the influence. A few minutes later Gibbs was involved in a hit and run accident with another vehicle. Gibbs reportedly had a 6-year old passenger in her vehicle. She was arrested at her residence a short time later.
Gibbs was lodged in the Christian County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence (aggravating circumstances), 1st-degree wanton endangerment, and leaving the scene of an accident.
