Police Investigate Possible Threats At Trigg Schools

Law enforcement officers investigated two incidents at Trigg County Schools Thursday.

Superintendent Travis Hamby sent out a one-call to parents saying law enforcement seized hunting equipment found in vehicle on  school grounds.

Cadiz Police Chief Chad Grace tells the News Edge the student will be charged accordingly.

In an unrelated matter, Hamby says officers investigated a potential threat.

He adds disciplinary measures according to school policies is being taken in both matters.

Hamby says they are continuing to work collaboratively with law enforcement and take any allegation of a threat seriously.
