One person was transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Eagle Way Bypass and Canton Pike Monday afternoon.
According to the police report, 24-year old Dominque Tucker of Hopkinsville was traveling westbound on the Bypass when her vehicle was hit by a pickup truck driven by 71-year old Danny Bozarth of Cadiz who was driving northbound on Canton Road. Both driver’s told police they had a green light. An eyewitness stated to officers he was traveling southbound on Canton Pike coming up to the intersection when he began to slow because the light turned yellow. The witness stated he believed the light on Canton Pike was yellow when the crash occurred.
Tucker was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
