WPKY Joins Ham Broadcasting Family

Princeton’s radio station, WPKY, is officially part of the Ham Broadcasting family of stations following the transition of ownership that took place Friday morning.

Ham Broadcasting President and CEO Beth Mann signed the agreement with Tiger Media Group managing partners Kathy and Joe McEnaney Friday morning.

Mann says it was an exciting day for WPKY and the Princeton-Caldwell County community.

Mann thanked Kathy and Joe McEnaney, Dann and Jaylyn Hughes and Lucinda Hughes for their work to keep WPKY a viable part of the community.

Mann says she is hoping people have begun to notice some changes when listening.

She adds more improvements will be coming in the future, with one of the first to improve the reach of the 103.3 signal.

Mann adds there will be more improvements.

She notes there also continue to be a very strong presence in the Princeton-Caldwell County Community.

WPKY currently operates on 1580-AM and 103.3-FM. The studios are located at 1035 West Main Street.
