Trigg Schools Moving To Next Step Of Vestibule Projects

During a special meeting of the Trigg County Board of Education Thursday night, board members approved to submit three BG proposals to the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) for the security vestibules that will be installed at the middle and high school entrances.

Superintendent Travis Hamby tells the News Edge the schematics for the middle school project will feature some changes.

Hamby adds the second proposal approved was for the energy design criteria for both projects.

The statement of probable cost for both projects is just over $256,000. The board approved the three proposals by a 3-0 vote, with board members Gayle Rufli and Linda Wood absent from the meeting.

JKS Architecture will make changes to the proposals and submit them to KDE on the school’s behalf.
