Oak Grove Woman Charged With Meth Possession

Police say a traffic stop for reckless driving on Fort Campbell Boulevard Thursday night led to the arrest of an Oak Grove woman on charges of DUI and drug possession.

Kentucky State Police pulled the vehicle over around 8:50 p.m. While speaking to the driver, 41-year old Melissa Stewart, police say she appeared under the influence. Upon further investigation, the trooper found Stewart was in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Stewart was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with DUI, possessing meth and drug paraphernalia, along with other offenses.
