Military Affairs Thanks Ft. Campbell At Eagle Ambassador Breakfast

Retired Commanding General of the 101st Airborne Division General John F. Campbell

Members of the military, veterans, and regional community leaders gathered to thank Fort Campbell at the annual Christian County Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Eagle Ambassador Breakfast Thursday morning.

Retired Commanding General of the 101st Airborne Division General John F. Campbell was the guest speaker for the event. Campbell says having the support of Hopkinsville and Christian County is crucial for families who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Campbell adds even though the Eagle Ambassador program may seem small, it has a huge impact on the military community.

Following Campbell’s comments, Hopkinsville Mayor Carter Hendricks asked everyone in attendance to consider making a donation to the Eagle Ambassador program so they can continue to provide critical services for the military.During the awards portion of the breakfast, Roger Morris was presented the Eagle Beaver award for his strong initiative and willingness to serve on the Military Affairs Committee.

The Outstanding Military Affairs Committee Member award was presented to Bill Chaudoin and Hopkinsville Electric System was presented the Military Affairs Committee Service Award.
