A forum for the Ward 6 candidates was also scheduled. It would have featured Democratic incumbent Wendell Lynch and his Republican challenger Timothy Moss. Moss did not attend.Lynch was allowed three minutes to discuss issues. Lynch says he’s a watchdog and believes one of the biggest challenges facing Hopkinsville is being too complacent. The City needs to engage leadership that is looking to the future, in an unselfish way, and be committed to those things which will move the community forward.
