The site of several fatalities and traffic accidents in Hopkinsville will soon have a new traffic signal.
Eighth District State Representative Walker Thomas announced Tuesday night on social media that a traffic light will be installed at the northbound exit ramp of Pennyrile Parkway at Eagle Way Bypass. In addition, he announced a turn light will be installed at the intersection of Highway 272 and the Bypass. Walker, vice chairman of Transportation, says the lights will be installed within the month and was a cooperative effort between the city, county, and state.
