A Cadiz man completed law enforcement basic training and graduated Friday from the Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond.
Officer Colton Livingston was among 38 graduates in Class 495. He received the Recruits of Distinction, Physical Fitness Excellence and Flag Detail. He will continue his duties with the Cadiz Police Department.
Cadiz Mayor Todd King says they are excited Colton will be a member of the police department.
Cadiz Police Chief Chad Grace tells the News Edge they are proud of Colton and ready to put him to work.
Colton is a Trigg County High School graduate and the son of Jeff and Carla Livingston.
