After approval from Hopkinsville City Council, Fort Campbell Memorial Park will be changing names next week.
During the October 2 meeting City Clerk, Crissy Upton told council this park serves as a reminder for several service members who passed away in late 1985.
A groundbreaking and sign unveiling will take place at Gander Memorial Park at 1:00 Tuesday afternoon, October 23. The park is located near the intersection of 41-A and Pennyrile Parkway.
