Man Arrested On Meth and Synthetic Drug Charges

A Hopkinsville man is facing multiple charges, including trafficking drugs.

Hopkinsville Police report an Officer Tyler Hancock spotted 40-year old Jermaine Sydnor traveling northbound on South Fowler Avenue around 10:30 Monday morning. Police say Sydnor looked back at the officer and then quickened his pace and walked behind 108 South Fowler. When Officer Hancock made contact with Sydnor, he reportedly started arguing with him and wouldn’t give him his name. After finally getting his name, police learned Sydnor had an active warrant. Officer Hancock says he backtracked where Sydnor had been walking and found multiple baggies of synthetic drugs, meth and a glass pipe with residue.

Sydnor was arrested and lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Controlled Substance – Meth, Trafficking Synthetic Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
