A Tennessee man reported to Hopkinsville Police he was shot during a robbery Monday afternoon.
According to the report, 23-year old Tyriq Saafir of Murfreesboro was in the 800 block of West 18th Street around 1:00 when an unknown suspect armed with a handgun attempted to take items from him. Saafir was shot during the altercation.
No other details are provided on the police report.
