Magistrates Get First Look At Grand Pinnacle Award

Hopkinsville-Christian County Visitor’s Bureau Director and former Eclipse Marketing and Events Consultant, Brooke Jung and Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham appeared before Christian County Fiscal Court magistrates Tuesday morning to share their excitement about receiving the Grand Pinnacle Award.

Jung says they were extremely honored to represent Hopkinsville and Christian County on the International stage during the 63rd Annual International Festival and Events Association Convention, Expo and Retreat in San Diego, California. She notes there were numerous categories in which entries were made from all over the world and the top tier is the Grand Pinnacle Award in which they submitted the Solar Eclipse project to be judged.

Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham also accompanied Jung to the convention to accept the award. He stated to magistrates a tremendous amount of time went into planning the Eclipse events throughout the county.

Judge-Executive Steve Tribble said he thinks it’s great to receive this award after a lot of people prepared for the Solar Eclipse event for over a year.

During the presentation, the Grand Pinnacle Award was passed around to all the magistrates.Magistrate Mark Wells said the county is very lucky to have Jung and Graham and added that that former Visitor’s Bureau Director Cheryl Cook actually got the ball rolling for the Solar Eclipse four years ago.
