Princeton Shop Destroyed By Fire Monday

A small repair shop in Princeton was destroyed by fire Monday morning.

According to WPKY, the Princeton Fire Department responded to a garage fire at 601 Madisonville Street around 1:40 a.m. and found the building fully engulfed. Chief Brent Frances said firefighters battled the blaze until around 6:00.

The small repair shop, owned by Frankie D. Wright, and all contents were a complete loss including a show car inside the building and a vehicle outside adjacent to the building.

The Fredonia and Eddyville Fire Departments also responded to the scene to be on stand-by t help cover the city and county while crews fought the structure fire.
