Man Charged With Possessing Controlled Substances

A Hopkinsville man arrested on a warrant is facing additional charges after police reportedly found multiple pills in his pockets.

According to the Hopkinsville Police report, officers served the warrant at a home on Hazel Street Thursday afternoon and 45-year old Michael Calvin in possession of a pill bottle with the label worn in his pant’s pocket that contained 16 pills of Adderal, three hydrocodone pills, and one 800 mg Gabapentin pill. A second plastic container was found in Calvin’s shirt pocket that contained 2.5 pills of trazodone, three cyclobenzaprine, one 600 mg gabapentin, and 3.5 methocarbamol pills.

Calvin was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with first-degree Possession of Controlled Substance Drug Unspecified, second-degree Possession of Controlled Substance – Amphetamine, and Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug.
