Ft. Campbell Soldiers To Assist In Florence Recovery Efforts

Army officials have announced the deployment of Fort Campbell soldiers to North Carolina where they will assist in Hurricane Florence response and recovery efforts.

Around 200 soldiers from the 74th Composite Truck Company with the 101st Airborne Division Sustainment Brigade “Lifeliners” were sent to Fort Bragg, North Carolina Friday.

The “Screaming Eagle” Soldiers departed with nearly 100 vehicles, consisting of heavy transport trucks and associated equipment. They will assist in Department of Defense efforts supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency and other relief agencies.
