Officials with Kentucky State Resort Parks announced Tuesday afternoon they will be offering discounted rates to residents of any East Coast state seeking shelter from Hurricane Florence. The discounted rates are $49.95 a night on lodge rooms, $69.95 a night for one bedroom cottages and for two bedrooms, $79.95 a night.
State Parks officials say these adverse weather rates are available at all resort parks until September 30th by calling the park front desk direct. They add an out of state driver’s license must be presented at check-in to receive this rate.
