Traffic is moving normally on KY 93 south of Eddyville in Lyon County after a garbage spill caused one lane to be closed Monday morning.
Just before 10:45 a.m., Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd reported the site had been cleared by a Freedom Waste crew who picked up the mess by hand. He says all lanes have been reopened.
According to Todd, KY 93 was restricted to one lane around 7:30 Monday morning when a door popped open on a garbage truck between Mineral Mounds State Park at KY 3305 and Gregory Road and US 62, causing garbage to spill out along the road.
