Riverside Drive will have intermittent changes to traffic flow during Riverfest from Thursday through Sunday. Spokesman Jim Knoll says the changes can potentially cause delays in traffic flow through the area, and if you plan on traveling through this area, it might be a good idea to seek an alternate route.
In addition, he says drivers need to be aware, there will be large amounts of pedestrian traffic through the area, so be vigilant and watch for officers directing traffic. Knoll also asks motorists to please be patient. The lane closures are as follows:
9/6 – 6 am thru 9/7 530 am – Riverside Drive, Southbound, from Spring Street to College Street traffic will down to a single lane
9/7 – 5:30 am – 7 pm – Riverside Drive, Northbound and Southbound will be down to a single lane from Spring Street to College Street
9/7 – 7 pm – midnight – All lanes of Riverside Drive closed Between Spring Street and College Street
9/8 – Midnight to 7 pm – Riverside Drive – Northbound and Southbound down to a single lane from Spring Street to College Street
9/8 – 7 pm to Midnight – All lanes of Riverside Drive closed Between Spring Street and College Street
9/9 – Midnight to 6 am – Riverside Drive – Southbound, from Spring Street to College Street traffic will be down to a single lane.
