The Ferrell’s restaurant in Madisonville was heavily damaged by fire Wednesday morning.
Madisonville Fire Chief Ray Wyatt says firefighters responded to the restaurant located at 112 North Main shortly after 3:00 a.m.

He notes the fire caused a total estimated loss of over $80,000 dollars to the restaurant.

Chief Wyatt says the investigation is ongoing and the initial cause appears to be a grease fire on the grill.
There were no injuries reported.
