Governor Matt Bevin has announced he is running for re-election in 2019.
Governor Bevin made the announcement during a speech at the Kentucky GOP Lincoln Dinner in Lexington, according to multiple sources.
Although there have been rumors and speculation of other Democrats considering a run for Kentucky’s top seat, to date Democratic Attorney General Andy Beshear has been the only one to officially announce he’s running for governor in 2019.
