A female pedestrian was flown to a Nashville hospital after she was hit by a vehicle on State Line Road in Oak Grove Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Public Information Officer Captain Michael Pendleton reports Oak Grove EMS responded to the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m. and found the female, along with a crowd that had gathered after she was hit. He says the male driver of the vehicle allegedly fired a shot into the air and fled the scene.
The female was flown by Air Evac to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
No other details have been released at this time.
