A Hopkinsville man was injured in a single vehicle wreck on the Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County Sunday night.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office says the wreck occurred shortly after 8:40 p.m. around the 11 mile marker of the parkway when 31-year old Kier Majors told deputies he thinks he fell asleep or dosed off briefly on his way to work. Majors stated he was driving south when the wreck occurred. Deputies indicate the car appeared to have ran off the road into the median and then came on the roadway and entered the median again become coming to a stop.
Majors was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment after deputies say he complained of left arm and leg pain.
