A man was injured in a two vehicle wreck on U.S. 62 West in front of the Princeton Walmart.

Princeton Police Chief Chris King reports the wreck occurred shortly after 7:00 Friday when 23-year old Taylor Dinsmore of Princeton pulled out in front of a van traveling westbound on Highway 62 driven by 32-year old Perry Odell III. He says Dinsmore crashed into the passenger side of Odell’s van, causing it to spin and overturn and come to rest partially in the roadway. Dinsmore’s view was reportedly obstructed by plastic that had been placed on the driver’s side window of her car and she couldn’t see oncoming traffic.

Chief King says Odell had be extricated from the van by the Princeton Fire Department. He was transported by ambulance to Caldwell Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
