Christian County Fiscal Court magistrates learned during Tuesday’s meeting that WCA Waste had purchased Freedom Waste earlier this month.
WCA Waste District Manager Randy Thompson said they purchased Freedom Waste July 1st in it’s entirety.

He noted they will be spending millions of dollars to make upgrades.

He added at WCA Waste they quickly take care of any problems.

Thompson also noted they will continue to call themselves Freedom Waste.
On a personal note, Thompson said he is happy to be back in this area.
He also informed magistrates everything in the contract will stay the same, including the basic rate.
