Three People Charged With Trafficking Meth

Police say drug complaints at a home in Earlington led to the arrest of three people for trafficking meth Tuesday night.

The Madisonville/Hopkins County Vice Narcotics Unit reports detectives were conducting surveillance at the home in the 100 block of Westside Avenue and saw a vehicle arrive and then leave a short time later. Authorities then conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle driven by 54-year old Wesley McNary of Nortonville. A passenger in the vehicle, 38-year old Candis Spinks of Madisonville, was reportedly arrested for an active parole violation warrant. During a search incident of arrest, detectives say they found two grams of methamphetamine. Detectives then executed a search warrant at the home on Westside Avenue and arrested 45-year old Billy Mann of Earlington for trafficking over two grams of meth.

The three subjects were booked into the Hopkins County Jail charged with 1st Degree Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Over 2 Grams Methamphetamine).
