Two Charged With Meth Trafficking

A traffic stop in Logan County over the weekend netted the arrest of two people after officers reportedly found meth and cocaine in the vehicle.

Russellville Police say a vehicle driven by 27-year old Kursty Ashby of Russellville was traveling westbound on the 68/80 Bypass and was pulled over shortly after 1:40 Sunday morning. Upon further investigation, officers reportedly found a substantial amount of suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, money and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Ashby and her passenger, 28-year old Adrian Ferguson of Bowling Green, were taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Detention Center charged with 1st Degree Trafficking in Controlled Substance Over 2 Grams of Meth, 1st Degree Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth), 1st Degree Possession of Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Rear License Plate not Illuminated.
