Man Charged With Trafficking Meth, Heroin

An attempt to locate an individual wanted on a warrant led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man for trafficking meth and heroin.

According to Hopkinsville Police, officers went to a home at 534 South Wooldridge Road and smelled an odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence. Officers obtained a search found and reportedly found suspected heroin, methamphetamine, several scales, plastic baggies, syringes new and used, pills, marijuana and a large sum of money throughout the home and in the room of 39-year old Christopher Shaw, along with his personal belongings.

Shaw was taken into custody and lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with Trafficking a Legend Drug, 1st Degree Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Over 2 Grams of Meth), Trafficking in Controlled Substance (Heroin), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.
