Details have not been released by the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office, but two people were injured in a two vehicle wreck at Kentucky 139/South Road and South Tanyard Road Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency personnel responded to the crash shortly before 5pm. Deputy Danielle Adams told the News Edge on the scene that the two people injured in the crash were transported by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital. She says the collision occurred when a pickup truck pulled off of South Tanyard Road into the path of a vehicle traveling on South Road, and the car t-boned the truck.
The News Edge has learned the driver of the car was Rachel Hughes of Cadiz. Hughes and her daughter were reportedly treated and released from Trigg County Hospital.
