UPDATE- 1 Hurt, 1 Arrested After Trigg Wreck

A wreck on Riley Hollow Road in Trigg County Tuesday afternoon sent a man to the emergency room and led to the arrest of the female driver on a warrant, a DUI and drug charges. Emergency personnel responded to the single-vehicle wreck around 1:30pm about 1.5 miles off of KY 274, the Rockcastle Road.

Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Jared Werner told the News Edge the car had balding tires and with the wet road conditions the driver, 37-year old Kesha Oliver, lost control and ran off the road.

Deputy Werner says one of the backseat passengers, 21-year old Billy Ramirez was transported by ambulance to the emergency room at Trigg County Hospital for treatment of injuries. Oliver and two other passengers, 26-year old Zach White and 20-year old Phoenix Beckham, were not hurt.

According to Deputy Werner, Oliver was taken into custody on a warrant for 2nd Degree Burglary. After the crash, she was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Opiates, and Prescription not in Proper Container.
