Motorists traveling Kentucky 91, the Princeton Road, in northern Christian County need to be aware the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic near the 14 mile marker on Tuesday to repair a sinkhole along the right of way. Spokesman Keith Todd says the lane restriction will be between Rat Rogers Road and Wallace Park Road/Cerulean Road.

According to Todd, the KYTC Christian County Highway Maintenance Crew and engineering staff have been monitoring the sinkhole for several days. Engineers plan to fill the hole with concrete Tuesday.

Motorists should be prepared to encounter a work zone lane restriction along Kentucky 91 between 8am and 2pm Tuesday.

Motorists should also be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
