Police say a student’s grandmother who wore a holstered firearm into the Trigg County Middle School Tuesday morning was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon on School Property.
Cadiz Police Chief Chad Grace says 56-year old Susan Smith was seen by school personnel entering the school wearing a shoulder holster.

He notes Smith was not taken into custody at the school, but was arrested on a warrant.

Following her arrest, Chief Grace says Smith was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
