A Hopkinsville man was arrested on a warrant Monday for allegedly robbing a man at knife point and taking his money on March 31.
Hopkinsville Police report 37-year old Laparkah Thomas was arrested on the warrant shortly after 4:35 Monday morning at the intersection of North Main Street and Glass Avenue.
On March 31, the warrant states Thomas attacked a male victim while armed with a knife, held him down, and then took $19 he had in his left shirt pocket. Thomas then fled the scene. Police say the victim suffered a few small lacerations on his hands and mouth. The next door neighbor reportedly heard the altercation, heard the victim yelling for help and saw Thomas fleeing the scene.
Thomas was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with 1st Degree Robbery.
