Fort Campbell Resident Accused of Hitting Man With Vehicle

A Fort Campbell man was arrested on a warrant for wanton endangerment and theft offenses Wednesday afternoon. Police say 20-year old Kenyetti Harrison was charged with 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment and Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $500 But Under $10,000.

According to the warrant, Hopkinsville Police report on February 22 Harrison unlawfully wantonly engaged in conduct which resulted in serious physical injury to a male victim when Harrison grabbed his cell phone valued around $700 and ran to his car to leave. The victim stated Harrison hit him with the car and he landed on the hood. Harrison then reportedly began to drive at a high rate of speed in a reckless manner, attempting to throw the victim off of the car’s hood. The victim eventually was thrown off the vehicle and sustained injuries, including lacerations to his arms and legs as well as a neck injury.

Following his arrest a Gate 4 around 3:50 Wednesday afternoon, Harrison was booked into the Christian County Jail.
