One of the alleged ‘porch pirates’ being sought by authorities in Clarksville is in police custody.

Clarksville Police spokesman Jim Knoll reports they received a tip around 8:00 Saturday night and 44-year old Sharlita Richardson was taken into custody in the parking lot of Walmart, located at 1680 Fort Campbell Boulevard.

Police asked for the public’s help Thursday in locating Richardson and 44-year old Tammy Hicks, who were wanted on felony theft warrants in connection to more than $1,000 worth of moving boxes being stolen from the porch of an Oakmont Drive home in broad daylight on April 2. Police stated they believed the two women were possibly in the Oak Grove area. Hicks is still at large.
