Woman Charged With Trafficking Meth, Opiates

A traffic stopped on Russellville Road in Christian County netted the arrest of a Tennessee woman for trafficking meth and opiates early Sunday morning. The vehicle was reportedly pulled over in the 300 block of Russellville Road, near Air Gas, shortly after 2:30am.

Upon contact with 37-year old Heather Moore, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, in the front passenger seat, police say she appeared to be under the influence of narcotics and had slurred speech, blood shot eyes, and she was unsteady on her feet. After a K-9 hit on the vehicle, officers reportedly found 25 grams of hydrocodone pills, 27 gabapentine pills, 11 grams of methamphetamine, and 19 grams of marijuana.

Moore was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with 1st Degree Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Greater Or Equal to 2 Grams of Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana, and 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Greater or Equal to 10 Dosage Units of Opiates).
