Governor Bevin Talks About Tax Reform

During the recent session of the Kentucky General Assembly, much time was spent working on a budget for the state.

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin says a consumption tax would benefit the state better than a production tax. He says the General Assembly has made some progress, but more is needed.

The Governor was asked to compare the tax structure with Tennessee. He said if Kentucky switched to a consumption based tax, the sales tax would be too high.
