Motorists traveling Interstate 24 in Christian County need to be aware eastbound traffic is restricted to one lane at the 90 mile marker, one mile east of the Pembroke-Oak Grove exit.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says the lane restriction is to allow some concrete pavement and bridge deck repairs. All eastbound traffic in this work zone will move to the left-hand or passing lane. The lane restriction is expected to be in place until 3:30 Thursday afternoon.
Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway near traffic flow.
