A Muhlenberg County woman was flown to a Nashville hospital after a two vehicle wreck in Logan County Monday afternoon. The Logan County Sheriff’s Office reports the wreck happened at 1:05pm on U.S. 431/Lewisburg Road, north of Lewisburg.
Deputies report a Ryder deliver truck driven by Roger Elam was traveling south on Lewisburg Road when he ran off of the road and lost control of his vehicle. The delivery truck then reportedly overturned onto a SUV driven by Terri Schulze of Greenville. Deputies say a passenger in the SUV, Wendy Walker of Browder was trapped inside the vehicle and was extricated by the Jaws of Life and then lifeflighted to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville due to her injuries.
