Police say a Hopkinsville man arrested on a warrant is facing additional charges after he was found in possession of meth. Hopkinsville Police report 35-year old Michael Keeling was served an arrest warrant shortly before 6:40 Monday night at a residence on Yoakum Circle.
During a search after Keeling was arrested, officers reportedly found a baggie of methamphetamine in his pants pocket and numerous needles in his backpack.
Keeling was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, along with the Christian County warrant with an underlying charge of Receiving Stolen Property Under $500. The warrant says Keeling was found in possession of a checkbook belonging to another individual on March 9 after he was captured on video entering the victim’s vehicle on March 7.
