One person was injured in a tractor-trailer wreck on the Western Kentucky Parkway in Hopkins County Wednesday afternoon. The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies responded to the 39 mile marker around 3:45pm where the driver, 56-year old Yaroslav Vasylyshyn of Tacoma, Washington, man traveling eastbound and lost control of the semi, exited the parkway, and hit multiple trees before coming to a stop upright in a wooded area.
The driver was transported by ambulance to Baptist Health in Madisonville for treatment of injuries.
