An individual who has devoted over a decade of volunteer work to the Trigg County Chapter of the American Red Cross will be recognized Tuesday. Angie Mills says they will honor Margie Myers.

She adds they will recognize her with a volunteer appreciation desert.

Mills notes the blood drives wouldn’t happen without volunteers like Margie, so they need to be appreciated for all the work they do.They will also be conducting a blood drive Tuesday from 11am until 5pm at the St. Stephens Catholic Church Fellowship Hall.

And if you are interested in volunteering, Mills says you can come to the Red Cross blood drive and she would be happy to talk to you. The church is located at 1698 Canton Road in Cadiz.
