Two Elkton residents were charged with trafficking meth and other offenses during a traffic stop in Todd County Sunday. The Todd County Sheriff’s Office reports the stop occurred on Tress Shop Road for an equipment violation.
The report says the deputy arrested 32-year old Christopher Saddler on an outstanding warrant, as well as the driver, 33-year old Sabra Phillips, for her second DUI offense.
During a search of the vehicle, the deputy reportedly found meth, scales and baggies.
Saddler and Phillips were booked into the Todd County Jail charged with 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Meth), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Saddler was additionally charged with Giving a False Name, and Phillips was also charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence after authorities say she tried to hide a meth pipe during the investigation.
