Todd Traffic Stop Leads To Marijuana Trafficking Arrest

Authorities say a traffic stop for speeding in Todd County landed a Franklin woman in jail for trafficking marijuana. The Todd County Sheriff’s Office reports the traffic stop occurred on US 68 around 12:20 Sunday morning.

The deputy says upon contact with the driver, 31-year old Samantha Mueller, he detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and Mueller admitted to smoking pot prior to the stop. During a search of the vehicle, the deputy reportedly found individual baggies of marijuana along with cocaine.

Mueller was arrested and lodged in the Todd County Detention Center charged with Speeding, DUI, Trafficking Marijuana Under 8 Ounces, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
