One man working to help clean up after the Saturday tornadoes knows the impact they have first hand. Hopkinsville Public Works Grounds Maintenance Superintendent Blane Ezell was at his home when a tornado touched down April 2, 2006.

Ezell was out Saturday night, even though Public Works wouldn’t begin clean up until Monday.

Ezell has been out every day this week picking up debris, cutting up fallen trees, and helping restore the town.
